# Contract Specifications

Ticko lists linear perpetual contracts. Each contract tracks the spot price of the underlying asset through a funding rate mechanism. Contracts have no expiry date and no physical delivery.

**Contract parameters:**

Each perpetual contract is defined by:

| Parameter              | Description                                          |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Underlying asset       | The asset the contract tracks (e.g., BTC, ETH)       |
| Quote currency         | USDT                                                 |
| Settlement currency    | USDT                                                 |
| Price step             | Minimum price increment                              |
| Qty step               | Minimum quantity increment                           |
| Min order size         | Minimum quantity per order                           |
| Max order size         | Maximum quantity per order                           |
| Max leverage           | Maximum leverage available                           |
| Funding interval       | Frequency of funding settlement (1h, 2h, 4h, or 8h)  |
| Funding interest rate  | Base interest rate component of funding              |
| Funding cap / floor    | Maximum and minimum funding rate per interval        |
| Impact margin notional | Notional used to calculate impact prices for funding |
| OI cap                 | Maximum total open interest for the contract         |
